Four Dead in Waynesville; Hammond has new Chief of Staff – Open Item
The Northwest Indiana Times reports Hammond’s new Chief of Staff, Mark McLaughlin is set to make $94,000 per year with benefits, making him the second highest paid Chief of Staff in The Region, second only to Gary’s B.R. Lane. Chelsea Schneider Kirk writes in the Times this is a departure from as McLaughlin’s predecessor, Tom Dabertin, worked in the position as a city contractor and not a full-time employee.
