Recap of #HAchat with Pete Seat
When we first came up with the idea to have a regular online chat, we really didn’t expect to start things off with a guest like Pete Seat, communications director for the Indiana Republican Party! We even had a journalist from the New York Times comment on one of Seat’s answers during the chat!
A topic that provoked a strong response from Seat was how events in North Africa (and now spreading around the world) may impact the Presidential election. He shared insight referring to the Georgia incident that had some impact on the 2008 Presidential election.
Seat also shared his thoughts with us about state legislative races to watch (including four in his home turf, northwest Indiana), how he stays abreast of everything going on in the Hoosier political world, and how activists can use social media to play a role in the political process.
Next week we’re pleased to welcome legislative candidate A.J. Feeney-Ruiz (HD 97) to #HAchat on Wednesday, September 19th at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Feeney-Ruiz is really active in social media, a tireless campaigner, and has lots of insight to share with us on his race and the Indiana political scene.
Be sure to join us here at Hoosier Access or on Twitter with the hashtag #HAchat next Wednesday at 8 p.m.!
