Inaugural #HAchat Wednesday at 8pm with Pete Seat
We’re excited to start a new feature here at Hoosier Access, weekly chats with the people you want to hear from. Every Wednesday at 8pm we’ll host a chat on Twitter using the hashtag #HAchat where you can talk about news and politics in the Hoosier state.
Hoosier Access is honored to kick off our #HAchat series with Indiana Republican Party Communications Director Pete Seat! A brief snippet from his biography on his personal blog – TheFrontRowSeat.com:
Pete Seat is currently the Communications Director for the Indiana Republican Party. Prior to that he served in the same capacity on the campaign of former and current U.S. Senator Dan Coats. Pete has also been a columnist for The Times (of Northwest Indiana), published op-eds in papers around the country and appeared as a frequent guest on FOX News and MSNBC programs, including Happening Now, Live Desk , The Daily Rundown with Chuck Todd and Hardball with Chris Matthews .
From June 2005 to January 20, 2009, Pete served on President George W. Bush’s White House staff, including a two-year stint in the Press Office which included traveling to twenty-three countries, logging thousands of miles on Air Force One and being one of only a handful of staff in the room during the first gathering of all our living presidents at the White House in twenty-five years.
You can catch Pete on his personal blog or on the Indiana Republican Party website. If you’d like to learn more about Twitter chats and how they work, read this blog post from Kevin Mullett about the tools you can use to participate. Those of you who don’t care for Twitter can follow the chat live here on HoosierAccess.com – we’ll pull all of the messages into the blog for you to follow along and add your own comments!
We’re very excited about this new program and hope you’ll join us Wednesday at 8pm for #HAchat!
